The freaks, the eccentrics, the queerdos, the activists, the artists, the providers, the leatherists, the rubberists, the sex positive BDSM community of Toronto!
These are our denizens. In the cozy dark corners of the city we gather for event parties that cater directly to this community.
With a focus on fetish fashion expression and cutting edge electronic music, our parties are no-nonsense play and rave experiences created by kinksters for kinksters!
We rarely do themes, we don’t dress things up more than they have to be and we don’t mess around. We just provide the vibe, the space, the music, lighting, the visuals and equipment for a classic kink party with a new generation approach.
We do, do consent! We keep a full garrison of fully trained harm reduction staff and resources at all our events designed to “aid” rather than “monitor” our patrons unique and varied expressions of kink!
And babe, do we ever care! We are community members who want to invest in the community itself. Like we say, kinksters for kinksters! In that, ALL of our parties and policies reflect this devotion!

One of the cornerstones of our events is our VIBE PATROL team of front line staff. We are very proud of this team!
Drawing from intersectional scene experience, pro-educators and healthcare professionals we’ve created a very special, tight knit group of individuals from the cross section of the community.
We want to go beyond just dungeon monitors in our approach to the flavour of kink positive gatherings. In reflection of our intersectional / anarchist values, we are a more patrol & mutual aid type of event focusing on community assistance, as opposed to watch & monitor, where we are the overseers on other people’s business. Vibe Patrol represent the face of this effort.
And it’s not just people! We have resources. Everything from drug testing to complete first aid to swag designed to facilitate amazing but safe experiences for everyone! Look for the pink glowing armbands!

There are two main pillars of Playground Kink, PLAY and MUSIC! When we created Playground, music was on the top of our minds.
In this thought process was a goal to have the music break out of traditional fetish tropes and reflect the diversity of the community.
All of Playground’s music is managed by our star resident Acid Burn. She curates the talent, with a focus on highlighting femmes, Queers and BIPOC. That’s not to say you won’t see allies behind our decks, after all, talent is talent right?, but we are focused on breaking a misogynist industry in half and try to represent what our community really is.
This includes genres. Our core is dark, hard and filthy electronic! However, in seeking talent we’ve had everything from Afro-beat inspired techno to sultry deep bass house to energetic industrial tech to cunty pop! We try to switch it up so that every Playground party has something new and exciting.
DJ RESIDENT: ACID BURN
Acid Burn is first and foremost an audiophile, transforming her deep love of music of all genres into dance floor experiences for Playground.
Founder, director and head of all media talent, Acid Burn holds one of our event time slots for about 90 percent of our events, serving us consistent dark techno bassey beats! If you think you have the desire to drop tracks at a hot fetish party, she’s the one to talk to!
VJ RESIDENT: Dusx
Fashion designer, artist, and technologist. Co-founder of Plastik Wrap, Host of the Bazaar Of The Bizarre, DusX is our resident visual screen artist and talent vetting for guest VJs.
As an award winning projection designer, DusX treats our patrons to beautiful abstract light and screen design that reflects the lasciviousness of our events!
